Application description of two-color rotary mold in electric tool industry

Two-color mold injection molding power tool is a mold in which two kinds of plastic materials are injected and processed on the same injection molding machine, and the mold is divided into two times, and the product is only molded once. Generally, this kind of molding process is also called double-material injection molding, which is usually completed by two sets of molds, and requires a special two-color injection molding machine. Two-color molds are becoming more and more popular in the customization of finished products. The appearance of injection molding products processed by two-color molds is more beautiful, and it is easy to change colors without spraying, and the technical requirements are high.

 

The two shapes of the two-color injection mold master mold are different, and one product is formed respectively, while the two shapes of the male mold are exactly the same. After the front mold and rear mold of the two-color mold are rotated 180° from the center, they must match. This inspection action must be done during design, which has higher requirements for mold base positioning and processing.

 

When designing the master mold for the second injection of the two-color electric tool mold, in order to avoid the second master mold being damaged, the glue position of the product that has been formed for the first time can be designed to avoid a part. However, the strength of each sealing position must be carefully considered. Increase the injection pressure during the injection molding process, and the plastic will deform, resulting in the possibility of a batch front in the second injection molding.

 

When two-color molds are used to process electric tools, the size of the first injection molding product can be slightly larger, so that it can be pressed more tightly with another male mold during the second molding to achieve the effect of sealing. During the second injection molding, the flow of plastic should fully consider whether it will impulsively shape the product that has been formed for the first time, causing its glue position to deform. The water transportation arrangement of the two female molds and the male mold should be as full as possible, balanced and the same. In principle, the hard rubber part of the product is injected first, and then the soft rubber part of the product is injected. Because the soft rubber is easy to deform
